Anil has lived in Andover for 14 years. As member of the Andover Green Advisory Board (AGAB) since 2011, he has taken deep interest in Andover’s retro-commissioning activities and other efforts to save heat and electricity. His contributions in these areas have yielded significant cost savings; and as a result, he has become the go-to person for all energy-related issues facing the town. Anil holds an MS in Computer Science and an MS in Electrical Engineering. After working in Digital Equipment Corporation for 14 years, he worked in three area startups as Director of Network Management, and subsequently in Motorola as Principal Systems Engineer. As Andover’s Solar Coach, Anil is engaged with the community full-time: collaborating with the core Solarize Andover team, interfacing with town officials, instructing Andover High School interns, and extending the Solarize Andover internship program to include students from Great Lawrence Technical School. Anil is member of Andover Rotary Club.

Don holds a Bachelor of Science from Brown University in Physics, and a JD from the Boston University Law School. He is a Commercial Panel member of the American Arbitration Association. Ever since a successful science fair project on solar energy in high school, Don has continued to believe in the possibility of cost-effective deployment of PV power generation on an individual scale. He has a 6 kW solar array on his rooftop in Andover. Don has been a member of the Andover Green Advisory Board for two years

Girish has lived in Andover since 2004. He works for Broadcom Corporation, Andover. He is interested in the field of Renewable energy and Natural resources. His prime motivation is to bring the expenses of daily living down as much as possible in a responsible manner. He is among the first few to have installed a Solar Domestic Hot Water System and the first to have installed a Solar PV Array, on my house, in Andover.
While living in Andover he had the opportunity to meet several like minded individuals, in town as well as in the Municipality, who share his passion for Renewable Energy and Cost-Savings. He joined AGAB so he could help the town become a Green Community, while exploring ways the Town and its Residents could save money, by using Renewable Energy and other natural resources in a responsible manner.

Tom Wu
Information Director

Tom is the Chief Executive Officer of Invaleon Technologies Corp. He is responsible for commercial and utility solar portfolios in the states of Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia. Tom is also the Principal of ITC Financial Holdings, a financing aggregate fund for institutional lenders from the United States, Canada, and China. As a principal, Tom advises investors in strategic consulting in the dynamic economics of solar in the United States with a particular emphasis on Renewable Energy Credits and Power Purchase Agreements.
Tom specializes in project and construction financing from institutionalized domestic and international lenders and providing the proper financing vehicles required to drive development solar portfolios.
In the past, Tom has been responsible for the design and construction management of residential and commercial solar projects in Massachusetts in the cities and towns of Quincy, Worcester, Braintree, Andover, Weston, and Dennis. Tom is an advent of research and development and has formed close relationships with private and public universities in promoting green energy projects as well as funding research for lowering the cost of installation and balance of systems.

Chad Stern

Chad is a committed solar evangelist. After years of working to integrate solar PV into the commercial real estate assets that he was a part of managing, Chad went to work directly in the solar design and installation field just over a year ago. Chad is passionate about finding ways to lessen the human impact on the planet and believes finding alternatives to energy resources is paramount to changing the way we live on this earth. In addition to being a member of the Andover Green Advisory Board since the Spring of 2013, Chad has been pursuing his Masters in Environmental Management and Sustainability through the Harvard Extension School for the past few years and will continue to pursue that goal while managing his business and trying to help his wife raise their two sons. Chad originally came to Andover as a student and eventually faculty member at Phillips Academy and fell in love with the area and the community. After living in Boston for a number of years the family moved to Andover in 2009. In 2013 Chad became the proud owner of a 7.85 kW solar system and has personally enjoyed the benefits of no electric bill for almost a year! He is eager to share his experience with the community and help spread the word of the myriad benefits of solar power.

Paul is Director of Planning for the Town of Andover, Massachusetts. Former Planner for the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, as well as, the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Westfield State College. Current memberships include American Planning Association (Massachusetts Chapter), Massachusetts Association of Planning Directors (MAPD), Merrimack Valley Chamber Commerce (MVCC), the Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council and Congress for New Urbanism.

Mark Spencer is the President and CEO of Water Analytics Inc. Andover. Mark holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has spent two decades in environmental research, research and development and product development. He was last Director of Technology for Agiltron, a contract R&D company north of Boston. He spent a decade at NASA Ames Research Center measuring infrared absorption of atmospheric species. His experience in securing and managing government funded R&D programs will be used to expand the technology of water quality analysis.

Mr. Sebasky is responsible for the growth and profit of Healthcare’s Customer Services business globally. He has been in a variety of senior general management and financial roles. Greg graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's of business administration degree, and he holds a master's of business administration degree from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Harvard Healthcare Forum and participates on a number of philanthropic boards in his local community. Greg is Chairman of the Andover Green Advisory Board.
Carolyn Dann
MassDEP Municipal Assistance Coordinator for North East

_Carolyn has lived in Andover for 32 years and currently works for Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection as a Municipal Assistance Coordinator working on waste reduction initiatives with a region of 40 communities. Carolyn has a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Williams College and an MBA from Dartmouth College. In her MassDEP capacity, she is now working with many of the Andover schools on setting up recycling and food waste diversion in the school cafeterias. In Andover, Carolyn has served as a member and chair of the local Recycling Committee for 8 years and also served in various capacities on the local board of the Andover A Better Chance program for 20 years. She is also the founder and co-chair of the Green Team at South Church in Andover which installed a 52Kw PV system on its roof in 2012, and she currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the church.

Paul was elected to the Andover Board of Selectmen in March of 2011. Paul served on the Andover Planning Board for 17 years and has also served as Andover’s Commissioner to the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, the Andover Council on Aging, the Town Yard Task Force, member of the Andover Rotary Club, Andover Historical Society, Service Club of Andover, Lawrence Boys and Girls Club Director, Northeastern University Advisory Board as well as the Lanam Club board of directors.
Paul is a father of 2 boys, a grandfather of 5 and resides with his wife Margaret on the former Walnuthurst Dairy Farm on South Main St., in Andover.

Steve Fink

Steve's work as a sustainability advocate focuses on lowering costs, supporting education, and improving the environment. This has included a range of successful Andover community focused projects, including the design of the new LEED certified Bancroft School, a series of award-winning school composting projects, and a local church sustainability initiative with activities ranging from environmental family retreats to installing solar power. He has worked with the Andover public schools to establish an innovative environmental internship program connecting the students to the community working on real-world sustainability. Each of these projects involved a consistent formula of working with community, municipal and business leaders while placing students in leadership positions. Steve's career as a high tech executive has focused on linking emerging technologies to new business models. He has led cross-functional, cross-cultural teams driving success for projects ranging from early web-based hotel e Commerce projects, to innovative global eLearning projects, to large overseas bank transaction systems.

Andover Green Advisory Board (AGAB) provides support to practical environmental solutions. It also advises various town boards and town departments in Andover.
Through outreach, technical assistance, research and advocacy, the Andover Green Advisory Board promotes increased use of renewable energy and resources, reduction of solid waste, conservation of energy and natural resources, prevention of pollution and improvement of personal and community health.
The Advisory Board provides ongoing expertise to appointed town boards, committees and departments on matters of sustainability; and second, to facilitate communication, education, collaboration and outreach among the various sectors, organizations, departments, community groups and institutions that have an interest in Andover's sustainability.
